Beach Ride!

On Saturday I took a friend to ride on the beach. It was miserably hot at home, so the cooler weather on the coast was very welcome. It was my first time taking Angie to the beach, and I was a little worried about how she would react to everything, but as it turned out she was great! The worst thing for her is always when there are other horses around, and there were two other groups there. We just kept our distance and had no problems, even with flocks of birds flying over and around us. It was a great ride! I hope to get Angie out to many more places, every time we go somewhere new my confidence in her grows, and hers grows too.

Scarlett was fabulous as usual. She wanted to run when we first got there, but after fifteen minutes in deep sand she decided it wasn't worth it and just walked along. Great ride for my friend, I'm so happy to have two good trail horses!
